Step 1: Install IPTV Smarters Pro
- Press the Home button on your LG remote
- Open the LG Content Store
- Search for IPTV Smarters Pro
- Select Install, then Launch
If IPTV Smarters Pro isn't available in your region's store, Set IPTV and Smart IPTV are solid alternatives and the steps below work almost identically.
Step 2: Log In With Your Details
When the app opens, choose Login with Xtream Codes API — not the M3U option. It gives you a proper channel guide instead of a plain list.
Enter:
- Any name you like (this is just a label — "Living Room" works)
- Username — from your welcome email
- Password — from your welcome email
- Portal URL — from your welcome email
Then select Add User.
⚠️ The One Thing LG Owners Get Wrong
LG and Samsung TVs often use a different portal URL than every other device.
If your provider gave you two URLs, the LG one is the second address — the one labelled for Samsung & LG or for IPTV Smarters. Using the main URL on an LG TV is the single most common reason setup fails, and it usually shows up as a login error or an empty channel list.

Step 3: Let the Channels Load
The first load pulls in the full channel list and programme guide. On a large package this takes two to five minutes — the app can look frozen while it works. Don't force-close it.
